Opera in Fargo – Moorehead

Founded in 1968, the Fargo-Moorhead Opera Company brings high quality opera experiences for any and all members of our community and region.  The current season of the FMO includes three fully-staged opera productions along with the Snowball Gala in December and other events throughout the year. The company also offers educational and outreach activities throughout the region including the Gate City Bank Young Artist Program for emerging opera artists.

We are the only Opera America company member between Minneapolis and Montana going east and west; and Omaha and Winnipeg going north and south. We are especially proud of the fact that Fargo-Moorhead is the smallest city in America to host a full-season professional opera company.
