Tomasz Wygoda is a dancer, dramatic actor and choreographer who works with Poland’s leading theatres, among them Cracow’s Stary Teatr and Warsaw’s Opera Narodowa. Has appeared with many modern dance companies including that of renowned contemporary choreographer Jacek Tumiriski. He has staged over thirty productions in drama theatres and opera houses throughout Poland.

Has worked with directors including Mariusz Trelihski, Krystian Lupa, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Agnieszka Olsten and Michaf Zadara.

Tomasz Wygoda has worked on several opera productions with stage director Mariusz Treliński including Puccini’s La bohème (Washington National Opera) and Turandot (Polish National Opera in Warsaw), Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov (Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Vilnius, Polish National Opera, Warsaw), Szymanowski’s King Roger, Rachmaninov’s Aleko and Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta (Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg), Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice (Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava; Polish National Opera), Verdi’s La traviata (Polish National Opera, Savonlinna Opera Festival).

På operan i Warszawa  Polish National Opera, Teatr Wielki, har Tomasz Wygoda koreograferat Thomas Adès Powder her Face, Bela Bartoks Riddar Blåskäggs borg, Peter Tjajkovskijs Iolanta, Richard Wagners Den Flygande holländaren och Tristan und Isolde samt Richard Strauss Salome.

Riddar Blåskäggs borg och Iolanta sattes också upp på Metropolitan Opera i New York och kunde ses av biografbesökare världen över.
