Brit-Tone Müllertz studied at The Royal Danish Academy, graduating with a diploma in performance in 2005. Further studies with Tonny Landy and Eva Johansson.

Future engagements include a.o. Gerhilde/Die Walküre with Odense Symphony Orchestra and Alexander Vedernikov, Strauß’ Vier Letzte Lieder in Großer Saal in Musikverein Wien with the Bruckner Orchester and maestro Dennis Russel Davies in 2016, debut as Senta/The Flying Dutchman at Opera på Skäret in August 2016 and also Ortlinde/Die Walküre at Osterfestspiele Salzburg in 2017.
Osterfestspiele in Salzburg
In 2017 she will make her debut at the Osterfestspiele in Salzburg with maestro Christian Thielemann.
After her performance of Sieglinde/Die Walküre in Linz, she received a nomination in ‘Opernwelt’ as best young singer in 2014.
Engagements in season 2014/2015 include 3. Norn/Götterdammerung, Freia/Das Rheingold, Sieglinde/Die Walküreand Tosca at Landestheater Linz, also Schostakovich Symphony nr. 14 and Wagner Gala Concerts at Copenhagen Opera Festival and in Aarhus with Torsten Kerl and Ian Paterson.
Since season 2013/14 Ms. Müllertz was part of the opera ensemble at Landestheater Linz in Austria where she performed Erste Dame/Die Zauberflöte and Rosalinde/Die Fledermaus as well as Freia/Rheingold and Sieglinde/ Die Walküre.
The Funen Opera
In 2012 she performed Poppea/L’incoronazione di Poppea with The Funen Opera, a critically acclaimed production. Brit-Tone Müllertz is a devoted lied singer and regularly gives recitals.
The Lauritz Melchior International Singing Competition
In 2010 she was a semifinalist in The Lauritz Melchior International Singing Competition. From 2008-2013 she was touring with Musikteatret Undergrunden in Dänemark.

She has worked with conductors like Dennis Russel-Davies, Franz Welser- Möst, Axel Kober, Jonathan Darlington, Michael Bojesen, Dante Anzolini, Shao-Chia Lü, Daniel Linton-France, Marc Reibel, Takeshi Moriushi, Ingo Ingensand, Boris Sitarsky, Daniel Spaw and Jaroslav Kyzlink.
Soloist in Denmark
She has performed as a soloist in many prestigious venues in Denmark and with several Danish orchestras, a.o. Sønderjyllands Symphony Orchestra and Aalborg Symphony Orchestra: As soloist in Rossini’s Stabat Mater, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s St. John Passion, Mozart’s Requiem, as Agathe in scenes from Weber’s operaDer Freischütz with Studentermusikforeningens orkester (SMFO) conducted by Simon Casali, Haydn’s Scena di Berenice with Galanteana Chamber Ensemble conducted by Jesper Nordin, and as soprano soloist in Carl Nielsen’s 3. Symphony with Lyngby-Taarbæk Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Morten Ryelund.
Brit-Tone Müllertz has also participated in several master classes in Denmark, Norway, Holland, and Switzerland with among others Rudolf Jansen, Helmut Deutsch, Margaret Price, Elisabeth Söderström, Thomas Quasthoff, Andreas Schmidt, Thomas Hemsley, Edith Mathis, Roger Vignoles, Malcolm Martinou and Philip Langridge.
She participated in The Verbier Festival’s Masterclass in Switzerland in 2003 after receiving a scholarship from The Heinemann Foundation. She is also the recipient of Friedrich Gürtler’s scholarship and Tove Hyldgård and Tonny Landy’s scholarship, presented every year to young, promising singers.
