Andrea Caré - tenor
Italian tenor Andrea Carè, was among the last students who had the privilege to study with Luciano Pavarotti, and a protégé of legendary soprano Raina Kabaivanska. He was also the winner of the Spoleto International Opera Competition in 2005. Despite his young age, Carè has already sung in some of the most important theatres such as; Teatro alla Scala, Covent Garden, San Carlo, Deutsche Oper, La Fenice, Staatstheater of Hamburg, Teatro del L’opera di Roma, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Royal Opera House of Stockholm, Petruzzelli di Bari, Comunale di Bologna, Opéra du Rhin de Strasbourg, G. Verdi di Trieste and Teatro Reggio di Torino amongst others.
Caré has made many important debuts including; Ismaele (Nabucco) at Covent Garden, Cavaradossi (Tosca) at the Opèra du Rhin Strasbourg, Sigurd at the Victoria Hall in Geneva, Gustav (Un ballo in maschera) at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm and Macduff (Macbeth) at the Grand Theatre de Genève.
