Bernadette Colomine was born and educated in France where she regularly returns. At the age of 23, Bernadette moved to LA where her Voice Over career bloomed and building on that success, she developed a full Production Company performing all services related to the adaptation of Movies, TV and Games into French.

Bernadette Colomine has provided the French ADR (French lip-sync dubbing) for some 300 movies and has an even longer Voice Over Résumé. Bernadette is often referred to as “The One Take Wonder” in the recording studio and was dubbed “The Voice Of France In Hollywood” in a feature article about her in the French newspaper Libération.
Bernadette Colomine is an active singer-songwriter and her musical talents have been utilized successfully in the world of lyrics adaptation. She has adapted the French version of songs in movies such as “Moulin Rouge”, “Ice Age 2”, “The Simpsons Movie” and many others.
Bernadette Colomine co-wrote the libretto of Rufus Wainwright’s opera “Prima Donna” which premiered in Manchester, UK, in July 2009 and is currently being scheduled for performances in several cities & capitals around the world.
She was approached to write a series of articles about Los Angeles that were published in the French newspaper “Le Monde”. Bernadette is a French language consultant and translator for Leonard Cohen.
Her passion for words, her dedication, her professionalism and impeccable work, have placed Bernadette in the elite ranks of French Language Service providers in the Entertainment industry.
Born and raised in the south west of France, Bernadotte Colomine moved to LA more than 25 years ago. She is a singer-songwriter and adapts songs and dialogue into French for movie dubbing. Of her involvement with Prima Donna she says:
‘While growing up, the music my Dad would play was opera. He sang many beautifully himself. At the time 1 didn’t think it cool and forgot all about opera until I met Rufus. Rufus talked about operas. A lot. He has for more than the dozen years that we’ve been close friends.
“The music came back to me and was so very familiar. When Rufus asked me to write the libretto of Prima Donna with him, I was thrilled and somewhat stunned, yet it felt natural and seemed to make perfect sense. I’m honoured and humbled to be part of this amazing project with so many remarkable people. I have accomplished my mission and served his beautiful work, and I dedicate my work on this project to my father Robert Colomine
